10,323 Teachers : Final hearing in SC today

The Supreme Court will take a final call to the bunch of petitions pertaining to services of 10,323 terminated teachers today.

The bunch of petitions pertaining to services of the 10323 teachers will come up for hearing before a Division bench of justice UU Lalit and Justice DY Chandrachud in Court no.-12

The teachers were sacked in December last year by the apex court but allowed to continue as ad-hoc appointment of the teachers following repeated persuasion of earlier Left Front Government.

However the newly sworn BJP-IPFT Government moved to Supreme Court seeking further extension of their service for two years.
