Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated PmKusum solar pumps at Borkubari (Bisramganj) as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahautsav celebrations.

The actual cost of 1HP pump is Rs. 2.50 lacs but central govt subsidy 50percent and Tripura Govt. is giving48percent subsidy.

Tripura is the only state in the country giving this subsidy to farmers for PmKusum solar pumps.

This is to help our “Annadatas” to double their income.The beneficiary share only Rs.2500 for 1HP pump.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said “I congratulate the implementing agency TREDA – Tripura is first among NE states and second in the whole country in implementation of PMKUSUM”.
