122nd Birth Anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad celebrated in Tripura

Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee wanted a self-reliant India. He gave top priority to the integrity and sovereignty of the country.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman stated it while inaugurating a tribute function on the occasion of the 122nd birth anniversary of Bharat Keshari Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Wednesday.

He said Dr Mukherjee had fought for a united India and also tried to ensure that all the people of the country get justice.

The guests paid homage to Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee by laying a wreath at his portrait at the beginning of the program.

Speaking on the occasion organized by the Department of Information and Culture, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the meaning of the new India lies in the dreams and thoughts of the students studying in schools, colleges and universities.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said this in a message. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas and Sabka Prayas – this is not just a slogan of any political party.

This slogan lies within the culture of India. It is also mentioned in the Rigveda of ancient India.
It is the only policy of nationalism and Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee believed in this policy.

The Deputy Chief Minister added that many may not be aware that Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee had a close relationship with Tripura.

The new generation needs to know the true history of India and follow Shyamaprasad Mukherjee’s vision to form a new India.
