Under Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijh Har Ghar Yojana, 12 thousand 658 power connections were provided till November (Saubhagya scheme) of the present financial year which is 95.74% of the set-target.

Among them, 2 thousand 908 power connections were provided in Chandipur block, 2 thousand 153 power connections in Gouranagar block.

5 thousand 451 power connections in Kumarghat block and 2 thousand 146 power connections in Pecharthal block of the district.
