128 Bengali medium Schools converted to English medium

From 2018-19 academic year to 2021-22 academic year, 128 Bangali medium schools in Tripura have been converted into English medium schools.

Of these, 12 Bengali medium schools have been converted into English medium schools in 2018-19 academic year, 28 in 2019-20, 31 in 2020-2021 and 57 in 2021-22 academic years.

Of the 128 schools, 39 are HS schools, 49 are high schools, 28 are SB schools and 12 are JB schools.

Prior to the 2018-19 academic year, 128 Bangali medium schools in Tripura were converted into English medium schools.
