2 arrested with Drugs, 4000 Yaba tablets, 350 bottles Phensedyl, 9 mm Pistol seized by Police

In pursuance of Nasha Mukt Tripura drive, West District Police achieved major achievement against drug trafficking on Monday.

Based on specific information on Monday morning a team of West District. police led by Addl. Superintendent of Police, Urban, West Tripura, Officer-in Charge, Lefunga Police Station along with staff conducted raid and search in the house of one Ratan Deb S/O Shri Atindra Ch. Deb of Rangutia under Lefunga PS.

During search police seized total 4000 Yaba tablets, 350 bottles Phensedyl, cash Rs 1,73,345/- (one lakh seventy three thousand three hundred and forty five) only, one factory made 9MM Pistol, one vehicle bearing registration No. TR06-0514 (Eon).

The accused persons 1) Anup Deb S/O Lt. Nandan Deb 2) Ratan Deb S/O Shri Atindra Ch. Deb, both are of Rangutia, PS- Lefunga have been arrested. A specific case is being registered for further investigation.
