Hon’ble Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday also set an example with his announcement to offer government job to a Divyang who sought for financial assistance from State Government during the Janata Darbar here.

The announcement was made in favour of Karn Bikas Chakma who went to meet the Chief Minister in the Janata Darbar today.

While interacting with the Chief Minister, Mr. Chakma sought financial supports from the State Government to get rid of monetary crisis. Being pained by his words, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb decided to offer him government job so that he can live his life with dignity.

The Janata Darbar today registered massive response amid presence of large number of people from all walks of life from entire Dhalai district. This is for the first time that any Chief Minister of Tripura confronted with people and heard there grievances. Besides, the Chief Minister also instructed the officials concerned to take immediate steps for resolving the issues highlighted by the people.

He also said, the people attending the Janata Darbar mostly talked about the issues related to development of citizens’ services like roads, markets, street lights, construction of culvert and drinking water. Some of them also raised issues relating to Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana. Only a few people sought for employment and loan while some other citizens raised health related issues.
“The officials concerned have been instructed to address and resolve the issues at the earliest,” the Chief Minister said.
He also conveyed thanks to the district administration and localities for the arrangements.

In another note, the Chief Minister said that several rice mills would be set up in Tripura under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana in one year– the projects and subsidized loans were already sanctioned.
