Addressing the people of Kakraban, the Chief Minister said the state government is working to strengthen the rural healthcare system. He said the Kakraban block is completely free anaemia.
“The existing Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Kakraban is being upgraded to Community Health Centre (CHC). The new building, which is under construction now, will be completed by May, 2020. Besides, twelve staff quarters are also under construction,” he said.
He continued, “a 10-beded PHC along with 10 quarters is being set up at Mirja and a G+1 a market shed is under construction at Kakraban. The works will be completed by May this year.”
The Chief Minister said around 9 lakh e-cards have already been issued in Tripura under Ayushman Bharat scheme.
“At Kakraban, 21,547 beneficiaries (60.16 percent) have already received Ayushman cards,” he said while conveying thanks to Health department and BDO Kakraban for this success. He also stressed on issuing 100 percent e-cards by March next.
“Under Kakraban R.D. Block, 7,00,387 mandays were generated on an average in the current financial year. Besides, 15.95 km road is under construction at total cost of Rs. 9.592 crore under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana,” he said, adding that three water treatment plants would come up at Shilghati, Kishorganj and Kakraban by March this year.
“As many as 2711 electricity connections have been provided at Kakraban under Saubhagya Yojana with 82.71 percent success rate. Similarly, 432 water connections have already been given under Atal Jaldhara Mission against the target of 627 at Kakraban,” the Chief Minister said.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said the number of job creators is increasing in Tripura and 2645 new industrial units have been set up after formation of new government. He also stated, the Per Capita Income (net) of people has increased to Rs. 1,27,000. The current GSDP rate in Tripura is 39.45 percent which implies that the state is becoming self-sufficient, he added.
