8666 street vendors to get financial assistance from CM’s relief fund, says CM

CM chairs 3 hours long high-level meeting,
reviews COVID19 situation

CM chaired an important meeting along with Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar and other top officials of the administration along with some of the Senior Doctors were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister has reviewed the overall COVID19 situation in an important meeting with the Ministers and top officials at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

In Tripura as many as 8666 street vendors, who are facing loss due to the lockdown, would receive a financial assistance of Rs. 1000 each.

The Chief Minister shared the decision in his social media handle. He said, as many as 8666 street vendors, who suffered loss due to the lockdown, would get assistance of Rs. 1000 each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The Chief Minister and the officials concerned had threadbare discussions on the latest situation and the steps taken to deal with the situation. Some important decisions were taken in the meeting to fight the COVID19.

The Chief Minister in a tweet said the state government would leave no stone unturned to overcome the COVID19 pandemic.
“Chaired a vital meeting with Ministers, CS & higher officials in connection to Corona Pandemic in our State. Analyzed latest situation & discussed various issues besides taking important decisions to fight this pandemic. We will leave no stone unturned to overcome this pandemic.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister was also apprised about the functions of various offices. Besides, there were discussions on the implementation status of various welfare schemes declared by the State and the Centre in view of the COVID19 situation.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the stock of PPE and other necessary equipments.
He said that there was no need worry as the Government was fully prepared and equipped to deal with any eventuality.
He shared the available stocks of various essential medical items– 1111 number of PPEs, 1420 of N95 masks, 8229 triple-layer masks and one lakh gloves available in GB hospital. Besides, more 2500 PPEs would be arriving in the state tomorrow from Guwahati. He also wrote that the state had adequate rectified spirit and the government prepared 10000 liters of sanitizers within the state.

Chief Minister in a message said strict action would be taken if anyone is found to be involved in spreading any misinformation or misleading people or creating any panic situation or running any fake propaganda.
