COVID-19 Cases In India Cross 35,000, Biggest Jump In 24 Hours

Today is the 38th day of India’s nationwide lockdown, which has been extended till May 3.

During his interaction with chief ministers on April 27, PM Modi reportedly hinted that restrictions may continue in hotspots.

India today registered 35,043 cases of Covid-19.

While the death toll jumped to 1,147, with 73 deaths in 24 hours, marking the biggest spike in a day so far.
