COVID-19: Lockdown extended till May 17 with effect from May 4, says MHA

The ongoing lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus has been extended by two more weeks, and will now go on till May 17.

The decision was announced through a government order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. 

Lockdown extended till May 17 with relaxations in areas marked as Covid-safe: Home Ministry.

The centre on Friday, extended the lockdown across the country for two more weeks till May 17.

Total number of COVID19 positive cases in India rises to 35365 including 9064 cured/discharged and 1152 deaths.

There has been a spike of 1755 new COVID19 positive cases and 77 deaths in the last 24 hours: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
