Agartala’s Bhagat Singh Youth hostel converted into a 300-bed COVID19 treatment center & it will be under GB hospital’s supervision. Now in Agartala total beds for COVID19 treatment stand at 410 (GB hospital: 80 beds, IGM: 30 beds, Bhagat Singh: 300 beds).
Two patients, who were detected in the first week of April, have been discharged from the hospitals after their recovery.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stand at 59,662. The death toll from the outbreak in India is at 1,981. Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi have reported the highest number of cases.
