In his fifth meeting with state chief ministers to discuss the post-lockdown strategy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the road ahead should be focused on reducing the spread of Covid-19 and ensuring that all precautions were taken by people, including social distancing norms, by observing ‘do gaaj doori‘.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb took part in video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other CMs.
A range of issues on COVID19 situation has been discussed in the meeting.
At present confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stand at 67,152. The death toll from the outbreak in India is at 2,206. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Delhi have reported the highest number of cases.
