Two people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tripura on Monday, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 150, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said ” In a massive COVID19 test among 750 civilian and BSF in Dhalai Dist today, 2 BSF officials were found COVID-19 POSITIVE. All patients are responding well to the treatment. With the blessings of Mata Tripurasundari soon our State will be Corona free”.

The first two COVID-19 patients in the state have been cured of the disease and discharged from hospitals in April.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stand at 67,152. The death toll from the outbreak in India is at 2,206. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Delhi have reported the highest number of cases.
