Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a special economic package worth 20 lakh crore rupees for an ‘Atma-Nirbhar Bharat’ or self-reliant India, saying that self reliance is the only way to ensure that 21st Century belongs to India. Addressing the nation the Prime Minister noted that this package, together with earlier announcements by the government during COVID crisis and decisions taken by RBI, is to the tune of 20 lakh crore rupees.

Ex CLP Leader Gopal Chandra Roy labelled PM’s recently announced relief package of 20 lakh crore as a ‘Historic Jumla of 2020’.
He also added in his statement that according to his calculation out of 20 lakhs crores 90% loan & others scheme. 10% direct help which comes to 2 lakhs that comes 1% GDP only.
He also added in his statement that Prime Minister in his 34 min long speech did not once mentioned the laborers who walked 1000 km to reach their home, never mentioned the 16 migrant workers who were ran over at the rail tracks being homeless.
According to him about 41,000 migrant workers, students, other people of Tripura are stranded in others states Ex CLP Leader Gopal Chandra Roy
requested the state govt to rescue those people and also demands to the Government to give 7,500 to poor workers.
