The first train from Tripura left for Bihar on Sunday
The people stranded in Tripura due to lockdown, finally left for their state today.
The health officials conducted screening of the passengers.
Before leaving their screenings were done and the items were checked randomly to ensure security inside the train.
Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday said the Railways is ready to run ‘Shramik Special’ trains from any district in the country, and asked district collectors to prepare a list of migrant workers stranded in their regions due to the coronavirus lockdown.
