Ten people tested Corona Virus POSITIVE in Tripura today.
1020 samples have been tested today for COVID-19, out of which 10 people detected POSITIVE.
5 returnees from Chennai and Bangalore, 4 returnees from Mumbai and 1 railway pantry staff.
As of now, total 242 positive cases confirmed in the state and 165 patients have already recovered. Three persons have been migrated and the number of active cases now stands at 74.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said “1020 samples have been tested today for COVID-19, out of which 1️⃣0️⃣ people detected POSITIVE. 5 returnees from Chennai & Bangalore, 4 returnees from Mumbai & 1 railway pantry staff”.
The total number of coronavirus patients in India increased to 151,767. While Maharashtra continued to report high number of cases, the COVID-19 infection touched a new high in Tamil Nadu, where over 600 new cases emerged on Tuesday.
The death toll due to the deadly disease rose to 4,337 after 170 more fatalities in 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The number of people recovered from coronavirus disease has further rose to 64,425 today, according to ministry of health and family welfare.
