Two more persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has said.
1050 samples have been tested today for COVID-19, out of which 2 people detected POSITIVE.
Both of them have returned from Maharashtra.
As of now, total 244 positive cases confirmed in the state and 167 patients have already recovered. Three persons have been migrated and the number of active cases now stands at 74
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said “1050 samples have been tested today for COVID-19, out of which 2 people detected POSITIVE. Both of them have returned from Maharashtra”.
The number of deaths related to COVID-19 infection in India rose to 4,531.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in India increased to 158,333 today, according to the data released by ministry of health and family welfare.
Globally, there have been over 56.9 lakh confirmed cases of COVID-19. At least 3.55 lakh people have died so far. The United States, Brazil, Russia, the United Kingdom and Spain are the most-affected countries.
