17 people found COVID-19 POSITIVE in Tripura today after test of 798 persons.
798 people tested today for COVID-19 out of which 17 people found #POSITIVE. Among them, 15 returnees from Maharashtra and 2 Bangladesh returnees.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said “798 people tested today for COVID-19 out of which 17 people found #POSITIVE. Among them, 15 returnees from Maharashtra & 2 Bangladesh returnees”.
The total number of coronavirus cases in India surged to 173,763.
India coronavirus cases have crossed 1.73 lakh mark taking positive patients toll to 1,73,763 including 86,422 active cases, 4,971 deaths and 82,370 cured, according to health ministry’s figures released on Saturday
India also recorded the biggest spike in death toll related to coronavirus infection.
At least 265 new deaths were reported in last 24 hours. The total number of fatalities due to COVID-19 infection rose to 4,971.
