India witnessed another sharpest jump in coronavirus death toll as the states had recorded 380 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
The causalities from the coronavirus pandemic rose to 9,900. Maharashtra reported a record number of deaths on Monday. The deadly novel virus claimed 178 lives in the western state in the last 24 hours.
Globally, there have been over 80 lakh confirmed cases of COVID-19. At least 4.36 lakh people have died so far. The United States, Brazil, Russia, India and the United Kingdom are the most-affected countries.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said “10 people found COVID-19 POSITIVE in Tripura today out of 1529 samples tested. All of them have travel history”.
