Tripura Board of Secondary Education today declared HS results, pass percentage recorded at 80.80%.
TBSE this year declared the names of top ten merit rank holders as per stream wise.
The TBSE 12th HS exams 2020 were held in March this year, however, a few subject exams had remained pending due to the coronavirus-infused lockdown. The Tripura Board planned to conduct the remaining exams in June, but eventually cancelled it as the lockdown was extended.
As per official data released by the board, the state recorded 80.80 passing per cent this year. Among the streams, Science recorded the highest passing per cent, with 89.85 per cent students clearing the exams. The passing per cent of Arts and Commerce was recorded at 79.52 and 78.56 respectively.
Dr Saha said that this year altogether 26,400 candidates appeared in HS examinations from 408 schools across eight districts of the state from total 86 examination venues and 60 examination centres , which was 27, 155 in the year 2019, a less of 2.78 %.
