Tripura Pradesh Congress on friday raised voice in protest against the decision of Central Govt to conduct JEE and NEET exams amidst Corona crisis.
They propagated the demand of postponement of exams for the overall welfare of the candidates.
Tripura Congress President Pijus Kanti Biswas said that the number of Covid-19 cases are increasing alarmingly each day and an environment of fear and crisis in prevailing all over the country.
Amidst all these Central Govts decision to conduct the Entrance exams is quite deplorable.
Meanwhile it requires mention that SC has already rejected a plea filed by students to postpone the exams stating that ‘precious year of students cant be wasted and life has to go on’
Several academicians believe that delaying exams any further can compromise future of the students.
JEE Mains and NEET 2020 are scheduled to be held between 1-6sept and 13th sept respectively.
