Opposition CPI(M) MLAs on Monday staged a walkout from Tripura Assembly in protest against exclusion of question-answer session and an alleged attempt to “throttle opposition voices” in the House.
Former Chief Minister and opposition leader Manik Sarkar said that there is no scope to speak about the problems faced by people in Tripura.
CPIM MLA’s led by Opposition Leader Manik Sarkar raised slogans inside the house against alleged strangle of voices inside the Assembly and boycott the session.
Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar also said that opposition tried to present problems faced by the people, including suggestions on Covid-19 but their voice were shut down by excluding provision of discussion in the House.
