In a major decision the BJP led Tripura government has announced to provide alternative arrangement of job for terminated ad-hoc teachers.
This is announced by the state education and law minister Ratan lal Nath in a press conference at state secretariat this evening .
Terminated adhoc teachers are knowns as 10 thousand 323 teachers from very beganing when they were legally fighting to save their government service as teaching job at high court .
Although by the Apex court order all the ad-hoc teacher terminated from their services on 2017. Speaking to the media in press conference the law minister said, state cabinet has approved to provide alternative jobs to the ad-hoc teachers as- per the Apex court’ last verdict .
The last and final verdict of that case was publiced on first week of August last. Minister said, state government will provide jobs to the teachers as non technical group-C group -D category against almost 10 thousand vacent posts.
Minister said a new recruitment rulls will announce for fulfilling vacant the posts. He said as per Apex court verdict the ad-hoc teachers will get age relaxation. They also appear to teacher recruitment test up to 2023 March as per Supreme court verdict he added.
The 10,323 teacher issue were also a major election issue in last assembly election in 2018. Ratan lal Nath said, during election period to solve the teacher’s issue was one of the big commitment of BJP party’s vision documents.
He said the state Chief minister Biplab kumar Deb was kind enough to solve the issue with humanitarian ground . Minister Ratan lal Nath raised his finger against to the opposition CPI(M) party to criate the problem on their regime. He criticized the then Chief minister Manik Sarkar for boiling-up the problem despites of High court single bench order. Ratan lal Nath said as per single bench verdict there was chance to solve the issue. But the then Chief Minister Manik Sarkar was not agreed with the Court verdict. Ratan lal Nath described the state government decision for providing alternative jobs to the terminated adhoc teachers is a historic decision .
