NE CMs set the Development Agenda for North East at 8th North East Festival

The incredible 8th edition of North East Festival started today with the graceful Inaugural Session at Radisson Blu. The session was graced by Union DoNER Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, CMs of the NER, and Foreign Secretary of India both online and offline. The inaugural session aimed and stiffened the development and growth of North East India. The North East Region is a very rich and well-cultivated land. The use of this region will result or make an enormous output of goodness in produce and products benefiting the economy and lifestyle of the people in the region, and also including the growth in the nation’s economic factor.  Moreover, it will balloon up in the tourism sector and it will connect the whole nation and the rest of the world to this region. The session further highlighted the use of the resources fully with advanced science and technology; also, their market avenues of these products. The power of youths of the region has been reinforced and with doubly the uses and forces can surplus the economic growth.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union DoNER Minister, Govt. of India, joined the festival online, said about constructing more railways and connection of routes from region to region, country to country. North East Region is ample of wealth and resourcefulness.

Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Assam talked about the encouragement of youth mass and foster learning to use the resources rightfully of the North East Region. Hardwork will definitely result in a better and brighter future of North East India.

Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Tripura said, “This North East Region itself is an asset to the region and to the people. Our food and cuisine can be promoted to the world. The applause of the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge, the beam bridge connecting to the northeast states is a landmark and great factor in tourism sector growth.”

Shri. Shyamkanu Mahanta, Chief Organiser, NEF- without whose vision the dream won’t have come true. He said that it was a small framed work he started in New Delhi with few of his pals and established this trust. Over the years it has become a positive and massive festival celebrated and recognized globally.

The North East Festival is an attempt to showcase and create awareness about India’s North East and to promote entrepreneurship and tourism. One of the major aims of the festival is an attempt to attract tourism and investments and create positive vibes during these trying times.
