Ganja plantation destroyed at Wangchhara
Tripura Police and TSR jointly destroyed 250 numbers of cannabis plants at Wangchhara area under Jashmura Gram panchayat.
According to police reports today at around 7 am, OC of Rajnagar PR Bari Police Station Anjan Chakma with a team rushed to Wangchhara based on Intelligence.
After a thorough search, the team found a cannabis plantation.
Consequently the plants were burnt and destroyed.
However police was not able to arrest the owners of the plantation.
ASI of Srirampur Police Station, Ranjit das along with other staffs were also present at the spot.
Confronting the media, OC of Rajnagar PR Bari Police Station, Anjan Chakma informed that this type of operations were held earlier aslo with success.
He also added their efforts will not stop here. Such raids will continue.
