Pradyot Kishore Debbarma raises demand for ‘Greater Tipraland
Tripura scion and former state Congress President Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma said that Tripura Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance (TIPRA) – would contest the tribal council polls this year.
“We call upon all the regional parties to come together to fight the ADC election from one platform forgetting respective ideologies. It will be beneficial for all the regional parties if they contest the election under one umbrella”, he said while speaking to the media at the Royal Palace.
In his tweet he said “today our decision is clear and loud . We want unity but cannot wait for eternity . We should unite for greater Tipraland”.
Announcing its decision to contest the TTAADC elections, TIPRA also raised the demand for “Greater Tipraland”.
Pradyot Deb Barman in his statement also added“We demand that every indigenous area or village which is outside the TTADC be included in Greater Tipraland,”.
