Decision to conduct offline exams adverse for students
Dissent is prevailing among students on the role of Tripura branch of ICFAI University, MBB college.
The Second wave of Covid-19 infection has created havoc across the country.
Tripura is also reeling from increasing cases of infection.
The state Govt has also issued various protocols and norms to curb the spread of the virus.
The decision of Tripura ICFAI University and other colleges to conduct offline exams has raised concern among students and guardians.
The routine for offline exams for final year of Btech, BCA, BBA has been announced along with the routine for mid term semester 2 exams.
The exams will commence from 26th april.
Question arises Why the administration has taken such drastic decisions amidst the pandemic ?
Amid rising threat of COVID-19 in Tripura as well as in India the college students staged protest against offline exams.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said there is nothing to stage protest but it’s all about safety.
On Monday there will be a crucial meeting and Final decision will be taken by the Education Dept.
