India reports 3.57 lakh new cases, 3,449 deaths
India saw a dip in daily cases, reporting 3,68,147 new infections on Monday. In the last 24 hours, 3,417 Covid-related deaths were reported in the country. About 49% of the new cases have been reported from five states Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
A week-long lockdown in Haryana has been imposed from Monday amid a sharp surge in coronavirus cases. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court called upon the Centre to revisit its vaccine procurement policy and also urged it and the states “to consider imposing a lockdown to curb the virus in the second wave in the interest of public welfare”.

134 more test positive in Tripura on monday.
According to the daily Media Bulletin Out of 2707 samples tested for COVID-19, 134 people found POSITIVE.
87 patients have recovered from Covid 19 on monday.
