IAF ferried 100 No’s. oxygen concentrators & 100 No’s. oxygen cylinders

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has flown 732 sorties with a flying time of over 1400 hours shuttling across the world and within the country transporting Covid relief material over the past month.

Indian Air Force ferried 100 No’s. oxygen concentrators from Jorhat Airport and 100 No’s. oxygen cylinders from Silchar Airport.

MBB Airport, Agartala extended its watch hours up to 19:30 hours to receive the medical items for the State of Tripura.

The acute shortage of medical oxygen had led to a major crisis across states, that have caused deaths of critical Covid patients over the past weeks.

This prompted IAF to launch a war-like mission to airlift oxygen containers.
