938 science teachers of 2012 has been regularised

The Tripura cabinet on Tuesday made a historical decision by approving the Appointment on Promotion Policy 2021.

Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said “At today’s cabinet meeting an historical decision has been taken, The New promotion policy 2021 has been declared by Biplab Kumar Deb Ji’s ministry. It is decided that the promotion may be allowed on ad hoc basis subject to the final outcome of the SLP pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and keeping in view of the latest available seniority list of the feeder post. And this is one time promotion”.

He also added in his statement “If in case of promotions any section i.e SC, ST or UR are deprived then in that case supernumerary posts will be created. This promotions has been held up for so many years and as a result these employees have been deprived of their promotions.There are employees who has been retired without availing any of these benefit. Due to this promotions the lower level posts with also be vacant and the unemployed youths of the state will also be getting an opportunity of employment”.

He also added “The government of Tripura under the able leadership of Shri Biplab Kumar Deb has taken a remarkable decision at today’s cabinet meeting for Regularisation of Science Teacher’s. A total of 938 nos science teachers of 2012 has been regularised. The government has also taken decision to provide all the arrears which will be amounting to extra 49 crore 59 lakh rupees.

The law minister said the employees are soldiers of the state government, without who it is impossible to achieve vision of ‘Ek Tripura Shrestha Tripura’.
