Law & order situation improved after the BJP-IPFT government came to power: CM
India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day today (August 15, 2021) with a series of events under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

Addressing the programme Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that the law and order situation is improved as the crime rate has decreased after the BJP-IPFT government ame to power.
Several parts of the nation, including Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Srinagar’s Clock Tower at Lal Chowk were illuminated in the colours of the national flag.
After hoisting the National flag, the Chief Minister while addressing the gathering at the Assam Rifles ground here said that with the constructions of the “Maitri Setu” (friendship bridge) over river Feni between southern Tripura’s border town Sabroom and Bangladesh’s Ramgarh, Tripura and other Northeastern states would get access the facilities of Chittagong International sea port (in southeast Bangladesh) to ferry essentials, numerous goods and heavy machineries.
“In comparison to 2019, the incidents of road mishaps have declined by 28.8 percent, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb while addressing the state on the occasion of Independence Day at Assam Rifles field.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also said, “for further development of the research and analysis wing of the state government has received an approval for setting up a Forensic Science University”.
“The Agartala-Akhaura (Bangladesh) rail link is under construction to facilitate transportation of goods between the two countries and the rail project is expected to be completed by next year. Waterway connectivity is being developed between Tripura and Bangladesh” the Chief Minister said.
