CM Biplab Kumar Deb paid tribute to Maharaja Bir Bikram on his 113th Birth Anniversary
Maharaja, the epitome of modern Tripura Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur’s 113th birthday is being celebrated across the state.
As part of this, many functions were organized at different parts of the state on Thursday.
The main celebration was held at Agartala, graced by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.
Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) administration has unveiled a statue of Bir Bikram at Khumlung to mark the day.
Addressing the gathering Chief Minister Deb said soon after BJP formed the government in 2018, Tripura has started celebrating the birthday of Maharaja Bir Bikram in a befitting manner with colourful events and multiple programs to re introduced Maharaja before the young generation who is considered as the architect of modern Tripura.
The state BJP also celebrated the 113th birthday of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur.
The day is celebrated with enthusiasm at every part of Tripura.
The main event of the birth anniversary is held at the BJP state office.
The state president of the party Dr. Manik Saha and other leaders and workers were present there.
Dr. Manik Saha said that Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore was the epitome of modern Tripura and a very amiable and modern-minded personality.
