Preparatory meeting for upcoming Rash Mela festival 2021

A preparatory meeting for upcoming Rash Mela festival 2021 was conducted in conference hall at Sub-Divisional Magistrate building, Santirbazur under the chairmanship of TTAADO MDC Padma Luchan Tripura yesterday.

The meeting was presided by Sub-Divisional administration, Santibazar In-charge Jogeshwar Reang. A general and executive committee for the mela was formed by the organizing committee in the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting at the inauguration of one-day Rash Mela festival s held on 19 November 2021 at Sri Sri Harichand Goswami Seva Ashram campos in Patichari under Santibazar sub division.

“The Rash Mela this year will be represented by fourdoplas- Murasing. Totaram, Dengra and Mosbang. The festival will be celebrated on a theme of peace and unity,” said TTAADC MDC Padma Lachan Tripura. The festival will be followed by cultural programmes, rituals, poem recitations etc.

It was decided in the meeting that for smooth functioning of the mela. Covid-19guidelines shall be followed like social distancing, mandatory usage of face mask and separate multiple entry/exits at the events venue. Moreover, it was also discussed that various line department shall perform their allotted duties for the mela.

Bokafa RD Block BAC Chairman Gouri Shankar Reang urged all line departments, local administration, police officials to strictly monitor and perform their duties for smooth functioning of the programmes. The next review meeting will be next conducted on 27 October at SDM conference hall as decided in the meeting.

Bokala RD Block Panchayat Sumiti Chairman Sridam Das, Bokafu RD Block BDO Rupon Das, SMC ex-Vice Chairman Suryahrata Saha, socialist Suman Dehnath and other officials were also present in the meeting.
