Tripura Campus of National Forensic Sciences University to be started soon

Tripura Campus of National Forensic Sciences University will be launched soon in the state.

National Forensic Sciences University, Ministry of Home Affairs is establishing it’s first Campus in Eastern India in Tripura.

A three-member delegation led by Dr JM Vyas met with the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in the Secretariat for a courtesy call.

During the meeting, the vice chancellor said. Dr. JM Vyas handed over a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as a memento to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.

During the meeting Dr. JM Vyas said the Tripura campus of the National Forensic Sciences University will be temporarily built in the old B.Ed College building at Buddhamandir.

Land has already been allotted in Srinagar near Agartala for the permanent campus of the university.

About Rs 100 crore will be invested in the first phase for the Tripura campus of the National Forensic Sciences University.

Secretary of the Department of Education Soumya Gupta, Director of the National Forensic Sciences University Gandhinagar Campus Dr. S O Junare, Executive Registrar of the National Forensic Sciences University Dr. CD Jadeja were present.
