Tripura CM launches online fire NOC portal
On Monday, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has inaugurated the Online fire NOC Certification Providing System at Hall No. 2, Secretariat. While months ago, “Ease of Living & Ease of Doing Business” has been introduced in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The concept of ease of living and ease of doing business has been introduced in the country with Prime Minister’s efforts. The present government also has taken initiatives to take this thought forward. Providing online No Objection Certificate (NOC) in fire service management is a part of ease of living and ease of doing business, enunciated Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb after officially launching online fire NOC service at the Secretariat on December 201
The Chief Minister said, earlier the citizens of the state including those involved with commercial sector had to face difficulties in getting fire NOC despite the presence of basic infrastructure. As a result it also affected govemment as well as private sectors. The online fire NOC service was launched to eliminate such difficulties and to speed up the services with transparency. He said, maximum application for the fire NOC comes from West Tripura district which is why this service has been launched in West Tripur district. This online fire NOC service will be given hased am self certification. For getting online fire NOC based on self certification minimum requirement should he 15 metre in height or 1000 square metre in area for resident building and 8 metre in height or 100 square metre in area for non-resident building.
The Chief Minister in the launching programme also said, the state government has taken initiative to start land identification, demarcation and mapping asing drone technology through the central government’s Swamitva App.
Besides that, the state government is preparing App for land as well with all the land-related features in it. He said, Tripura is the only state in the country where Vanadhikar App has been created for identifying and demarcating land of patta holders.
State Home Minister (Fire & Emergency Service) Ram Prasad Pal in the programme said. a new phase has ushered in the state through the launch of online fire NOC service keeping in mind the convenience of the people. He hoped that this initiative will solve the long standing problem of obtaining fire NOC
Secretary of Fire & Emergency Service Apurba Roy in the programme discussed briefly about the process of providing online fire NOX Senior Technical Director of NICAK Dey also delivered speech in the programme. Welcome speech was given by Additional Secretary and Director of Fire & Emergency Service Anindya Kumar Bhattacharjee.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Home Minister Ram Prasad Pal and other dignitaries handed over few fire NOCs to the applicants in the programme.
