Soon Mobile Veterinary Unit and Call Centre Project to be started in the state: Animal Husbandry & Welfare Minister

Tripura has been lagging widely in installing modern system and amenities in the animal husbandry and business sector.

The previous left govt has ruined this department by every possible means. But now it will not remain the same.

On Thursday, while addressing the press Minister of Animal Husbandry and Welfare, Bhagwan Chandra Das made an announcement at the secretariat.

Talking about the new plannings and direction for this following department he said that very soon, state would get the facility of Mobile Veterinary Service as well as
Disease Prevention especially among the domestic as well as wild animals.

It will be soon implemented in the state after a short survey. For implementation of this projects the centre government has credited the state government with Rs. 1 crore, 92 lakhs as the first instalment.

He also said that 12 Veterinary vans were distributed as the first work of this project.

For running these ambulances the centre government would spend 90% of charges.

In every ambulance, there would be One doctor, One medical assistantant and a driver would be present 24×7 for providing services.

Also, in the meeting the Minister also discussed about the rural economy and for revolutionising it, he has promised to work for the rural areas and colonies of this state, understanding the core issues and try to fix it as earlier as possible.
