GOVERNMENT IS COMMITTED TO MAKE TRIPURA A DRUG-FREE STATE: CM
On Monday, the Tripura Police week has been started at the A.D Nagar Police Reserve’s Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Field.
The Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has being invited as the chief guest and has also inaugurated the main event followed by other shorter events.
On the parade ground, the Police Battalions conferred the Chief Minister with highest honorary salutes while he was busy in watching the parades.
Later, he also visited the blood donation camp which was organised in the complex and interacted with the police persons and donors.
He also inaugurated the photo gallery made on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekata Diwas and Motor Cycle Rally.
Glorifying Tripura Police in his tribute speech, he said “In Tripura’s Progress and in making Tripura a greater state no doubt, there is an immense outstanding role of Tripura Police.
Tripura Police has achieved a milestone record in finishing the drug culture, money extortion and illegal businesses in the state.
The state Police must make sure that there exists no criminal tendencies, wrongdoing affairs and corruption in the society.
The CM also said that giving priority to the women empowerment the government has decided to recruit a massive numbers of female constables in the police.
Also, currently 3,400 combined recruitment in police, TSR, SPO and Female Constables going smoothly and transparently in the state.
Last but not the least, the CM also awarded and felicitated the nominated police officials for their good work, record breaking achievements and service in 2021. Also, awarded the category of best police station, best district and policeman of the year.
