Our commitment is to make Tripura a drug free state, & it is only possible with the collaborative efforts of all the people of the state.

On Wednesday, at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan Hall No.1 the 159th birth anniversary have been celebrated which was organised by the Vivekananda Vichar Mancha and State Aids Control Society where Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has been invited as the Chief Guest.

Followed by the inauguration session, Padmashri Dipa Karmakar make everyone read the oath of “Nesha Mukt Tripura.

Moreover, Purnima Das, a 7th standard student from Golaghati has handed over a cheque of Rs. 10,000 in the hands of CM to his relief fund.

Her father who is a farmer contributed the money for fighting the COVID situation in the upcoming time.

Addressing all the dignitaries, volunteers and audience; CM has a given his landmark speech where he said “The government can go to any extent just to curb the drug tendency and consumption final and forever in the state.

We are working for the bright future of the youths in the state and moreover, we have to make sure that we can make our state “A Drug Free State and HIV Free State.”

In memory of Swami Vivekanda, CM said “Every generation have got inspired by Swamiji’s personality. Every time, we look back to our past ancient culture we find his legacy inevitable and infinite waiting to illumine thousands of future generations waiting to make again our motherland “The Viswa Guru. We should follow his glorious path and render ourselves to the welfare and service of our people”.
