A total of About 4000 youths will be trained under the scheme in various trades including IT and ITES, logistics sector etc.
The main motive behind the training is to prepare skilled manpower for the logistic sector.
The decision was taken during a planning meeting of DDU-GKY chaired by Chief Secretary Tripura Kumar Alok.
The Chief Secretary in his tweet wrote “Chaired PAC meeting of DDU-GKY scheme yesterday. About 4000 youths will be trained under the scheme in various trades including IT and ITES, logistics sector etc. It will help promote logistics and ITES sectors in Tripura”.
