60-year-old woman run over by train in Tripura

On Tuesday, a 60-year old lady died at the D M Colony area in Teliamura of Tripura’s Khowai District after a local train rain over her.

Police and locals identified the dead woman as Rasbala Sarkar, a resident of D M Colony.

They also said that she mentally unstable for quite some time. It is assumed that due to her mental condition, she met the tragic accident by accidentally walking over the railway line.

Nevertheless, the exact cause of her death is yet unknown. The police said that dead body was sent to Teliamura Hospital and will be handed over to the family after completing forensic investigation.
