7-day long Mission Indradhanush campaign in Khowai

A press conference was held on Mission Indradhanush at Chief Health Officer’s office in Khowai district.

Khowai Chief Medical Officer Dr. Nirmal Sarkar informed that according to the immunization guideline, total 67 infants from 0 to 2 years of age and four pregnant ladies will be brought under Mission Indradhanush campaign through immunization in different places under Khowai district.

Among them. 4 infants will be imununized in Teliamura, 61 infants will be immunized in Mungiakami and 2 infants in Khowai sub-division. Whereas 4 pregnant ladies will be immunized in Mungiakami block area. All of them will be vaccinated within 7 days from February 7, The Chief Medical Officer hoped for everyone’s cooperation for successful implementation of Mission Indrudhanush.

District Immunization Officer Dr. Bikram Debbarma and other health staffs were present during the press conference.
