800 New Gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana to the women of Charilam Mandal

Deputy Chief Miniater Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated a Mega Health camp organised by the Doctors Cell of Tripura & Mandal SC Morcha at Charilam Mandal as a part of Modi Ji’s 71st birth anniversary celebration in presence of BJP Doctors Cell In-charge Dr Tomojit Nath and Mandal President Sh Rajkumar Debnath.

800 New Gas connections under Ujjwala Yojana were provided to the women of Charilam Mandal through Lakshmi Narayan Gas Agency in South Charilam
Providing LPG connections to BPL households will ensure universal coverage of cooking gas in the country.

This measure will empower women and protect their health.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said “It will reduce drudgery and the time spent on cooking. It will also employ rural youth in the supply chain of cooking gas”.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma urged everyone to actively participate in all seva related activities and promote the pro-people schemes for the antyodaya and also to interact with the beneficiaries.
