A representative team of Satyajit Ray Film Institute to visit Tripura

To enquire about different matters for setting up of a Film Institute in the state, a representative team of Satyajit Ray Film Institute will be visiting Tripura.

The team is expected to visit the state in the next 10-15 days, Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury informed in a press release in a press conference yesterday.

The state government has recently decided to set up a Film Institute in the state so that students need not have to go outside the state to study Film.

Finance department has granted fund of’ 5 crore 76 lakh rupees recently for setting up of Film Institute in the state, informed ICA Minister.
