On Tuesday, a meeting was held on the issue of making the temple attractive in the Choturdas Devtabari temple premises.
Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury presided over the meeting. The tourism Minister said, “Initiatives have been taken to make the historic temple of this state more attractive. Every year, many tourists from all over the country come here for the seven-day long Kharchi festival at this Choturdas Devtabari temple. This temple is being renovated with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank”
In the meeting, the representative of the construction company explained where what will be renovated in the temple.
After the meeting, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Ratan Chakraborty and other officials visited the temple premises and visited the temple.
Besides, Old Agartala Panchayat Samiti Chairman Biswajit Shil, North Champamura District Head Anima Das, Tourism Department Secretary Uttam Kumar Chakma, Tourism Department Director Tapan Kumar Das, Jirania Sub-Divisional Ruler Shanti Ranjan Chakma and many others attended the meeting.
