After 9 days of murder of advocate Pradip Modak, police on Saturday evening arrested Jaba Modak, younger sister of murdered advocate in charges of murder.

Police added that during interrogation, the younger sisters frequently changed her statements and police on the basis of other concrete substantial evidences, on Saturday evening arrested Jaba Modak on charges of murder and also added that she will be produced before a local court with police remand petition for further investigation.

Police claimed that they have closed in on the culprits involved in murder of Advocate Pradip Modak by studying his mobile data, bank accounts details and activities of lawyer’s close relatives.

Advocate Pradip Modak was brutally murdered in mysterious condition at his residence in Abhoynagar on November 29.
