Agartala Press Club Secretary Pranab Sarkar honoured with “Media Hero” Award.

Agartala Press Club Secretary and Indian Journalists Union National Secretary Pranab Sarkar honoured with “Media Hero” Award on Saturday by Rotary Club of Agartala City.

Mr Sarkar was honoured for outstanding results and conduct in the field of journalism, maintaining high ethical standards of competence & good practice.

Amidst the second wave of the coronavirus, National Secretary of Indian Journalists Union and Agartala Press Club Secretary Pranab Sarkar has undertaken noteworthy measures to deal with the prevailing situation of pandemic in Tripura with ample cooperation of the Health Dept.

Almost 100 percent of Journalists in Tripura has been vaccinated which is the only such instance in whole country.

COVID-19 crisis has not stopped Pranab Sarkar, Secretary of Indian Journalists Union and Agartala Press Club Secretary from standing besides Journalists.

Pranab Sarkar, however, has been on the forefront ever since the pandemic struck Tripura last year. During the second wave too, he is working tirelessly to help those in need.
