The state traffic department has launched a month-long special drive to deal with illegal parking in the heart of the capital.

Traffic Police Superintendent Manik Das was present during this operation from GB Market to Cancer Hospital and Shyamoli Bazar area on Wednesday.

While giving a response to the journalists, the traffic police superintendent clearly informed that this operation will be conducted in different places of the capital till December 15.
In this case, people’s cooperation is necessary for natural reasons.

Due to the non-cooperation and careless attitude of the people, parking is created everywhere causing inconvenience to the pedestrians including traders and in many cases vehicular accidents.

He said, “We will take action according to the law as soon as we receive complaints.”
