Agri machines distributed to farmers in Jirania under SMAM

In the present financial year under Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) scheme, different agricultural machines have been distributed to farmers for in Jirania sub-division with the initiative of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare department Power Tillers were given to 6 families at subsidy of 85 thousand rupees under this scheme.

Among them, 2 families are from Jirania block. 3 families are from Old Agartala block and I familyis from Belbari block.

Besides that, Power Weeder machine were given to 3 families at subsidy of 63 thousand rupees i.e.. one machine to each family. from Belbari, Old Agartala and Jirania blocks and Paddy Thrasher machine was given to 1 family at subsidy of 1 lakh rupees.

Farm Machinery Bank was provided to 3 families at subsidy of 9 lakh 50 thousand rupees ie, one to each family from Belbari, Old Agartala and Jirania blocks. This was informed by Jirania agricultural sub-division Supervisor’s office.
