Taking into account the ensuing COVID-19 situation in the State and keeping in mind the health and interest, of students with a view to minimize learning losses, the following decisions have been taken by the Education Department which will come into effect from 11-01-2022
All classes from Pre-primary to Class-II will be suspended till January 15, 2022.
The ongoing examinations (of the Directorate of Elementary Education) shall continue maintaining all preventive measures and COVID Appropriate Behaviour.
The students who will be appearing in the examinations shall only attend school on the days of their examinations and other students shall not attend school on the examination days in such schools.
In schools where examinations aren’t scheduled, 50% of the students. enrolled shall attend school in each class (except Pre-primary to Class II) ensuring that every student gets to attend school once in two days.
VThe hostels attached to School Education Department and run by SC Welfare Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department and Samagra Shiksha will be closed for all purposes. except for the stay of students who will be appearing in the ongoing examinations.
COVID protocol shall have to be maintained for conducting examinations and physical classes of the students. HM/TIC/ Examiners will ensure strict adherence to physical distancing norms and face mask/face cover for all students.
The Heads of the schools shall make sufficient arrangement for distribution of masks (for students who aren’t wearing the same) hand washing, sanitization & thermal scanning at the entry point.
